Is Mama Love Protein sweet?

The short answer: no. Mama Love Protein is made without sugar or artificial sweeteners, because we want the nutritious, muscle-recovery and milk-boosting ingredients to hold the spotlight. We did include a touch (less than 1 gram per serving) of monk fruit, or luo han guo, to counteract the bitterness of the brewer’s yeast. Monk fruit is naturally sweet, but it doesn’t create a blood glucose spike the way sugar or artificial sweeteners do, and it won't upset your stomach the way sugar alcohols can. That said, there’s nothing stopping you from tossing a ripe banana or sweet dates into your blender. (Kim’s favorite blend is a scoop of Mama Love Chocolate Protein, a frozen banana, and almond milk.)
