OK, we know this word is controversial, but there’s just no getting around it. These dreamy chocolate pumpkin donuts are MOIST. Like a cake shop chocolate glazed with comforting pumpkin pie spices, only better! These babies are the perfect combination of sweet and healthy—loaded with breast-milk-boosting oats, nutrient-rich pumpkin, and protein.
Pumpkin is packed with potassium, a potent electrolyte, and fiber to power you through your next sweat session. Plus, it has beta carotene, which gets converted in your body to vitamin A and is used all over—for things like healthy eyes, strong immune cells, and radiant skin.
Another big plus, thanks to Milkadamia these donuts are dairy-free (no milk or butter!) and you don’t need eggs—just whole grains and plant-based goodness in here. Oh yeah, and sugar… Can’t forget about that white stuff. These definitely fall in the dessert category, but they’re worth it. Definitely!
If you don’t have a donut pan, you can use a muffin tin and increase the baking time a bit.

Ingredients
For the Donuts:
- ½ cup Plant-based Chocolate Protein Powder
- ½ cup Oat Flour
- 1 tsp. Baking Powder
- ½ tsp. Baking Soda
- ¼ tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
- ½ cup pureed Pumpkin (canned is great!)
- ½ cup Milkadamia Unsweetened Vanilla Macadamia Milk
- ¼ cup Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
For the Glaze:
- 1 tbsp. Milkadamia Unsweetened Vanilla Macadamia Milk
- ½ cup Powdered Sugar
- ¼ tsp. Vanilla Extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a six-cavity donut pan (or muffin tin).
In a large bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients—plant-based chocolate protein, oat flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
In a medium bowl, mix together all of the wet ingredients—pumpkin, Milkadamia, maple syrup, vanilla extract.
Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until well combined.
Put the batter in a large baggie, snip one corner, and pipe it into the prepared donut pan, dividing evenly among the six cavities. (Or carefully spoon batter into pan.)
Bake for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the donuts comes out clean.
While the donuts cool, make the glaze.
In a small saucepan over low heat, whisk Milkadamia, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until well combined.
Remove from heat and dip donuts into glaze one at a time.
Place donuts on a wire rack to cool.
Makes 6 donuts.
